My obsession with cars started about 20 years ago. I remember lying on the floor of my parent’s home making ramps for my favorite Matchbox car, a red Ferrari Testarossa. Fast forward to 2008… now my typical experience with exotic cars involves an occasional turn behind a PS3 controller and my HDTV. I have had time behind the wheel of an Audi R8 at the Manhattan showroom, but that was a short lived experience. Regardless, I imagine my only real chance of driving an exotic still remains several many paychecks off. Thanks to Vulcan Motor Club I’m wrong.

The Vulcan Motor Club is a member’s only club that lets you drive some of the most sought after cars in the world. Read on to find out how you too can partake. Oh, and more pictures.

  1. First, schedule a private consultation and figure out the right membership plan for your driving needs.
  2. Reserve a car by calling the club.
  3. Pick up your dream vehicle at the club, where you leave your regular car for a complimentary detailing. Or, you can have it delivered straight to your home or office.
  4. Miles are debited from your membership plan.

Plans start at $9,500 per year and top off at $25,000 per year. It may sound pricey at first glance, but when you consider that their fleet includes the Ferrari F430, Aston Martin DB9, Lamborghini Gallardo, and the Audi R8. Even at $25,000, you’re only paying a fraction of what it would cost to own these cars. But if membership is still too much for you, you can always do the Wind and Fire tour for $1,200.

The Wind and Fire tour lets you experience all of the cars above plus a Bentley Flying Spur in one unforgettable day of driving. You spent 30 minutes at the helm of some of the most exotic cars in the world around some of “most scenic and demanding roads in the region.” What region is that? For now, Vulcan has clubs in Chester, NJ and the Hamptons. But fear not, they plan to open clubs in Pennsylvania, Florida, and Connecticut.

What this means to you: Your dream car… now accepting reservations.
