Finding a good wallet isn’t the easiest of tasks, as it requires balancing some competing interests. You want something that looks good, but you need something that will leave you with some cash left to put in it. Not to mention, having the same plain black or brown leather wallet that everyone else has is pretty boring. We put a premium on uniqueness, but your wallet has to be classy and versatile since, as men, we don’t change our wallets like women change their purses.
When faced with this conundrum, we’re thankful to know J.Fold, makers of the original Sportswallet. Each and every J.Fold wallet features 100% top grain leather, 8 card slots, bill compartment, and 2 smaller pockets. J.Fold’s attention to detail really makes each wallet unique. They are offered in a variety of designs and can range from the Jet Stream in red (at right) to the more subtle Tred in purple. Some feature perforations, others are accented with contoured leather and colored bill pockets.
After over a month of daily use, I’ve fallen in love with the Jet Stream (unfortunately, not my personal aircraft). Its unique design certainly stands out. The perforations are smooth and give the wallet great texture. For ~$70, this J.Fold original is something that’ll leave you with plenty of cash left to put in it. J.Fold has many designs that are really appealing; so much so that I might find myself switching wallets like a woman switches purses after all.
J. Fold also features a wide selection of zip wallets, business card holders, and bags.
Cost: $67 (as pictured)
