The LP Converter Table is an unexpected product spied on a recent visit to Restoration Hardware. The LP Converter Table comes housed in a 1960’s-style vinyl suitcase that not only plays your old LPs, but lets you rip them into MP3s using your computer’s USB (B to A) input for burning to CDs or play on your iPod or other MP3 player. The LP Converter Table also features winged speakers that hinge out for on-site sound, a headphone output, and auxiliary input for external players and a cradle to hold your device of choice. Bass and treble controls are included, and though we didn’t hear or expect B&W-like sound, the LP Converter Table still managed to produce halfway decent during our informal, on-site, clerk-unapproved store test.

If you’re feeling especially spicy, consider ordering the perfect record cabinet to place the turntable on.

Cost: $249
