How’s that New Year’s resolution to get back in shape coming? Not easy, is it? It can seem daunting if you’re not quite sure how to go about accomplishing said goal. Luckily, Men’s Fitness has taken the guess-work out of your gym work. Starting in January, they are offering a workout plan each and every month for the entire year. Hence the title, Yearlong Workout 2010.
Eric and I participated in this a few years ago and were thoroughly
pummeled impressed. This year, Men’s Fitness has devised an amazingly well-rounded routine including circuit work, intervals, and a variety of hardcore weightlifting… and that’s just the first month. My personal favorite element is the weekly adjustments, making sure that, while the routine is similar week to week, for the month it never gets stagnant.
