Shocking as it may seem, there was a time when Matthew Broderick was not married to John Kerry masquerading as a woman. During that time he made some solid movies and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off is most certainly one of the best. The iconic Ferris Bueller is a senior in high school outside of Chicago with graduation bearing down on him. Operating on his mantra that “Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it”, he puts in motion an elaborate ruse to spring himself, his best friend Cameron, and his girlfriend Sloane from school for a day to hang out in Chicago. What transpires could never have happened in the time allotted, but it will still make you want to play hooky. Car nuts beware, a Ferrari was hurt in the filming of this movie.
