Bowers & Wilkins, a name synonymous with high fidelity and premium products, recently unveiled the B&W P5 Mobile Hi-Fi headphones, a pair of headphones long overdue for iPod, iPhone and other mobile players. The P5’s, designed by Morten Warren (the designer behind the B&W Zeppelin) certainly looks as great as it will inevitably sound (yes, we give B&W that much credit). Everything from the New Zealand sheep’s leather swathed ear pads to the studio engineer tuned ultra-linear neodyumum magnet drivers that produce audio as close to the original recording as possible. In other words, neutral sound, a good thing. The flat-folding closed back headset also lets in just enough ambient sound to make sure you’re aware of your surroundings without any sacrifice of sound and an included iPod, iPhone compatible cords allow control of music player or phone call functions. Carrying pouch included.
