The X-Games have done a lot for high-adrenaline sports, but they oft miss the less “controlled” element, dirt-bike races withstanding. Over the past 3 years, Brooklyn based photographer Theresa Orotolani has captured the raw behind-the-scenes, in-your-face element to dirt-bike racing across the U.S. and Europe, following underdog Nathan Kanney from an underdog private racer to a world champion KTM sponsored rider.
Whether you’re a fan of dirt biking or not, Endurance is a gorgeous book, featuring rich, saturated, stunning imagery (see above) of the sport and a bevy of world-champion racers doing what they do best.
