If you didn’t already bite on the Motorola Droid or the HTC made Google branded Nexus One, then your patience might have just paid off. Announced yesterday as coming to Verizon, the HTC Droid Incredible falls in line with the new slew of high powered Android smart phones storming the market. It will run Android 2.1 below HTC’s custom mobile UI known as Sense, and feature top of line specs such as: a bold 3.7-inch WVGA AMOLED capacitive touch display, 8 megapixel camera with dual LED flash, and a 1GHz Snapdragon processor. Wi-FI, GPS, and a slew of other now standard features like a 3.5mm headset jack are also included for good measure. As Engadget reports, the handset will be up for pre-order on April 18th (this Sunday) at Best Buy for $199.99. Otherwise it hits shelves nationwide on April 29th. For now though check out Verizon’s page on the device to stay informed.
