Dutch Boy Refresh Odor Absorbing Paint

Get More from a Fresh Coat

By Ben Bowers on 4.30.10

Chemistry has helped paint companies come up with some pretty interesting ideas in recent years. Case in point is Dutch Boy’s new Refresh Odor Absorbing Paint. Unlike other options which simply cover your walls, this stuff is the first and only paint to include Arm & hammer odor eliminating technology in the formula. As if that trick wasn’t enough, the formula also provides a mildew-resistant coating to surfaces, and is ZeroVOC/Greenguard certified, meaning it smells much less strong than what your nose is typically used to. Sold in a variety of sheen styles including Flat Enamel, Eggshell, Satin, and Semi-Gloss, as well as in ceiling paint, this stuff is ideal for areas like the kitchen or bathroom that take the most abuse in the smell department. However be prepared to pay a bit more for this super paint than your generic hardware store brand.
