Gillette Fusion ProGlide Razor Review

Sometime in 1904, King Camp Gillette (yup, that was his name) patented the very first safety razor. A few hundred iterations and blade designs later, the unsurprising conclusion is the most men still suffer the same shaving problem: tug and pull. Expensive razors and regimens fight this through a variety of methods (more blades doesn’t necessarily mean a better shave), but they’re neither cheap nor easy. Gillette’s new Fusion ProGlide Razor (Manual $11, Powered $13) tackles the problem – and cheaply. Tested on 30,000+ men, the shower-safe Fusion ProGlide has been engineered with thinner low-cutting force blades, a blade stabilizer, the “snowplow” comfort guard, a larger lubricating strip, a more ergonomic handle, a microcomb, auto-shut off, and a regulated micro-pulse on the powered version.
