iSi Pro Tongs

Feature Filled Forceps

By Eric Yang on 6.1.10

Tongs, arguably one of the most critical items in a man’s kitchen repertoire. Especially when it comes to grilling. This past Memorial Day weekend, GP fired up our grills and put a trio of iSi Basics Pro Tongs to the test. Besides well-handled eats, the Pro Tongs proved that tongs can and are more than a glorified sprung hinge. Three key features come to mind from our fiery test: 1. detachable arms for cleaning and sanitizing (eliminating unsanitary trapped food gunk) and are completely dishwasher safe. 2. Three-way multifunctional edge: a smooth scalloped edge for delicate foods, straight edge for deboning, and a jagged edge for full grip. 3. Adjustable wide and narrow positions to handle different sized portions. The Pro Tongs are constructed of polished stainless steel, chrome-plated flexible spring, and a fiberglass reinforced nylon lock. Available in 9″, 12″, and 16″ lengths.

Quick Take: These Pro Tongs are weighty enough for the hardiest of steaks.
