Tesla, the storied American manufacturer of lean, green, electrified machines has unveiled their latest iteration of their single-product lineup with the Roadster 2.5 ($101,500).
The Tesla Roadster 2.5 receives a facelift comprised of a redesigned grille, rear bumper with diffuser, improved interior with 7″ touchscreen display, and backup camera. The changes impart the hand-built carbon fiber monocoque Tesla Roadster with some well-timed upgrades in light of their new
Southern Northern California factory, stock offering, and well… price. No updates have been made to the 375 volt electric powertrain, but with virtual instant access to 295 lbs-ft of torque and 288 horsepower (14,000 RPM), 3.7 second 0-60 mph times, 125mph top speed, and 245 miles on a single charge, we’re not exactly hankering for more.
