Commemorating Wolverine’s 125+ years of history and the original reference number of the 1000 Mile boot, Wolverine has commissioned a series of films by Sean Sullivan to document the process of boot making in advance of the 721LTD Boot release. The resulting work is a beguiling glance at the meaning of true American craftsmanship and, in our opinion, this country’s grassroots manufacturing renaissance.

In this second installment, Wolverine guides us through the process of making the new limited edition shell cordovan Wolverine 1000 Mile 721LTD boots. If you missed the first video on the Chicago based Horween Leather (see: GP’s interview with Nick Horween) that’s used in the boots, watch it here.
