Rough isn’t an adjective one likes seeing associated with bedding, but in the case of Tricia Rose’s work will cut her some slack. Through her time spent in abroad, Rose was inspired by the land and vintage textiles she later discovered in France and London’s fine fabric houses. After years of searching, she eventually came across the coarse linen fabric use to create the masculine bedding you see above. Simple and clean, every detail of the product such as French seams using Guttermann thread on the horizontal for strength and neatness, or the invisible YKK zippers are all done by hand. If you’re looking for that extra 10%, you can even opt for hand-sewn white antler or burnt bone buttons too. Try finding that at Kohl’s.
