Plenty of gadgets get the sexy factor right, but in all of our product trawlin’ years we’ve never seen a humidifier look this good. Built like the lovechild of K.I.T.T. and a high-end subwoofer, the William Ultrasonic Humidifier’s ($230) 1.5 gallon tank can fill rooms up to 1,000 sq ft in size while measuring an apartment friendly 9.1’’W x 12.2’’H x 6.3’’D and weighing a bit over seven pounds. It’s also extremely quiet and relatively eco-friendly thanks to an off-timer and sleep mode which dims the lights (yet sadly won’t turn on Kenny G). Why you’d spend $200+ on a humidifier when you can buy a perfectly decent alternative for less than $50 is certainly valid question. The reality is that reason by default must go out the window in the quest to prevent dry skin, with something this fly comes around at this level of spend.
