The iPad 2 release from the minds at Apple may put you to sleep when you see what else has been unveiled in Cupertino, CA. The Ducati Multistrada 1200 S Pikes Peak Special Edition is easily more fun than a flock of angry birds (app or real). Created to celebrate motorcyclist Greg Tracy’s victorious class win in the 2010 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, this version of the Multistrada 1200 S is born from the four-bikes-in-one concept created by the original. Sport, Touring, Urban and Enduro modes can be selected with one click of a button. Next to the base motorcycle’s V-twin engine, the Pikes Peak Special Edition sports a carbon fiber low windscreen and front mudguard and a custom seat and delicious Ducati Corse paint scheme that set this two-wheeled stunner apart from the run-of-the-mill Multistrada (we’ll take that, too). Look for Mr. Tracy and Ducati to defend their title in 2011 Hill Climb.
