MacArthur, The Omen, Roman Holiday, Spellbound, and To Kill a Mocking Bird. Those are just a few of the genre-defining films Gregory Peck starred in during his career as a leading Hollywood man. His role in the latter was even named as the “Greatest Hero in Movie History” by the American Film Institute — eat your heart out Bruce, Arnold, and Stallone. With that laundry list of accomplishments, it’s fitting that on the 50th Anniversary of Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird publication, Oliver Peoples will release a new line of signature Gregory Peck frames. So even though you’ll probably never channel Mr. Peck with his gravitas and his dulcet voice, you can see the world through his specs. Modeled after the original pair donned by Atticus Finch in the film, the Peck family will donate all proceeds from the frames to the Los Angeles Public Library. That good deed aspect should help you swallow the $315 sticker price when they launch this May in select Oliver Peoples stores worldwide.
