Prodrive MINI John Cooper Works WRC
Maximum Mini

If you’ve ever seen WRC (Word Rally Championship), you know that the drivers and cars are some of the best around. You also know that you must be at least mildly wrong in the head to drive that fast on some seriously uneven and unpredictable roads around the world. Well, the sport has been suffering over the past several years, with rules changing constantly and manufacturers dropping out. Now, thankfully, Mini and Prodrive are throwing their hat into the ring with their all-new John Cooper Works WRC. Utilizing a 1.6 liter turbo, per the FIA regulations, the Countryman WRC is driven at all four wheels for beautiful rallying nirvana. This joint effort rally car will throw down at six races this year and will run the full WRC circuit in 2012 and onward. Look for this drifting hot hatch to go up against WRC big guns Ford and Citroen. All we know is that it looks like a amped up and up-sized Hotwheels car that’s ready to do business. Oh, and in the first race, that front spoiler is going to come right off.
