Yes, it’s another timelapse and yes we had an entirely different post ready for this edition of Viewfinder, but then a new, astonishing piece of work by the time-bending maestro Terje Sorgjerd landed on our desks. Sorgjerd, who filmed the Aurora Timelapse we brought you a couple weeks ago is back with an even more confoundingly staggering film. Over the span of week, atop El Teide, Spain’s highest mountain, Sorgjerd used a Canon 5D mkII and a grip of lenses to capture a terrestrial perspective of the Milky Way, even managing to film through a sandstorm, but enough of our gabbing — hit play and be mesmerized.
