The Huntington Baseball Company was founded by William Peebles back in 2009 as a way to combine his passion for baseball history and design. He was fascinated by the evolution of the baseball glove from 1860’s to the 1920’s and wanted to apply his meticulous attention to detail and love of craftsmanship to recreate them. His company now makes beautiful glove replicas by hand from a variety of eras, sourced from the finest materials in the U.S. The company has also expanded to make stunning historically accurate bats, balls and prints which have man cave display case written all over them. Plus, unlike buying the scrapped seats from Shea or Yankee stadium, you can trust these items to be sanitary. Our only peeve with Peeble’s work is that much of it has the company’s founding year, 2009, boldly displayed somewhere, which leaves our dreams of scamming Antiques Roadshow pretty much dead in the water.
