Senna was originally released in 2010 and covers the life of one of the greatest race car drivers of all time, Ayrton Senna. Its producers originally thought the film would flop in the U.S. market due to a lack of knowledge as F1 as a sport and recognition of Senna as a star. Thankfully things have finally been sorted out, and the film is now showing in the U.S. In fact, earlier this summer it won the World Cinema Audience Award in the documentary category at the Sundance and has been overwhelmingly praised by critics as one of the most enthralling sports documentaries ever. Even if you know nothing of racing, this trailer is worth a watch.
