The video above is the pilot for a new series by Joe Gannon, Matt Springer and Max Wastler of Allplaidout.com, chronicling the talents of companies who still pursue the noble cause of making goods in America. In their first adventure, the team visits Gatlinburg, TN to meet with the proprietor of Cause and Effect, Billy Moore and the founders of Imogene + Willie — where they learn at the feet of Master Cutter, Nester Maranan and take their own shot at creating a chambray shirt by hand. Watch and you’ll see that shirt making is much harder than it looks and best left up to the experts. We certainly hope the series continues and are trying to do our part to help. If you like what you see, you can support this worthy cause too by sharing it with others. Every little link helps.
