It’s Better in the Wind follows a similar theme to the short film Machine we shared a few weeks back. Creator Scott Toepfer spent the last two years working on the project, capturing photos and video footage on each of his rides around the Western United States using a Canon 5dMkII and Minolta Super 8mm. Combined, the modern and vintage shots create a living scrap book of sorts, chronicling the adventure and camaraderie shared on the open road. The pitch-perfect original soundtrack by Chuck Ragan is a work of art on its own and sets the perfect tone for the short. If you can’t drop everything to become renegade wanderer on a whim, watching this may be the next best thing.
