If you’re looking for quite possibly the most stylish cute/brute-ute on the planet, you won’t have to look much further than the 2012 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque. Not so loosely based on 2008’s LRX Concept, the Evoque is meant to turn heads, empty wallets and generally be driven by urban dwellers who have no intent on utilizing its off-pavement genes.
The first thing you notice is that this mini-SUV is attractive. The high belt line and the sloping roofline make the Evoque stand apart from its German buddies, so much that the others look a bit homely by comparison. But does the 4-cylinder Brit perform? Will you be impressed by its looks but not its manners? We get to find out as we get Behind The Wheel.
