There’s an ancient proverb that says “Man fears Time, but Time fears the Pyramids.” Based on the video A Jacket for Life, Time can’t be too fond of Barbour jackets either. This documentary showcases the 30-year love affairs that several Barbour owners have with their jackets — showing us why those relationships last longer than many marriages. It also takes the viewer behind the scenes of a customer service center where old, battered, but still stylish coats are sent for repairs. Each garment is taken through rehab by one Barbour machinist who does all the work needed to breathe new life into that particular coat. If only Lohan was so lucky.
