Remember your first day of school? Wet-your-pants excitement in elementary, doldrums in middle and utter jadedness in high school — but always accompanied by that trustworthy backpack. Those tattered Eastpaks and monogrammed LL Beans may not have exactly exuded street style, but there’s still time to make up for it with Everlane’s latest consideration, an update to their previous backpack offering, which sold out in three hours.

The Everlane Backpack captures the practicality of its predecessor, and your old faithful carrier, with an updated look — canvas, bridle leather detailing and antique brass snaps and zippers — waterproof lining, and a padded laptop pouch. And it’s still made here in the USA. Though they’ve upgraded the aesthetics, the backpack still comes with a price tag reminiscent of your childhood at just $65. The pack hits Everlane’s e-shop tomorrow, so keep your browsers tuned in — demerits will be issued if you’re tardy.
