The new SRT Viper is a sight to behold (at least when it’s standing still enough to see), and the 2013 SRT Viper GTS Launch Edition makes the bodywork look even better. The striking GTS Blue with Bright White twin stripes that extend the full length of the car, just like the 1996 and 2006 versions, delivers a stunner and in our opinion makes for the best looking Viper ever. Ralph Gilles did the car up better than we could’ve imagined, and this Launch Edition will show up in all its reptilian glory at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance this weekend, where our own Bradley Hasemeyer will be on the ground to capture live photos.

A few key touches set this limited edition Viper apart: a blue Stryker badge background on the steering wheel and hood, a serial numbered dash plaque displaying the car’s uniqueness, and beautiful Laguna leather with contrast stitching throughout much needed upgraded cabin. We love the carryover of the forged aluminum 5-spoke high-polish wheels and the red brake calipers from the original GTS. The car certainly carries the color scheme’s now established tradition well, and we can’t wait to see how this home grown bad boy tears up the tarmac, looking good all the while. Expect pricing for the GTS Launch Edition to be north of the base Viper’s $95K price and worth every penny.
