The 2014 Mercedes-Benz E-Class sedan is sharp, but it just might be upstaged by the sportier-looking 2014 E-Class coupe. A huge grille and massive air intakes on the fascia set this two-door apart from its big brother. The coupe also retains a previous E-Class design — large haunches over the rear wheels — which is an interesting choice, given Mercedes’ elimination of this look on the new sedan. Instead of the 4-door’s double-hook LED headlamps, the coupe sports a split internal unit that visually breaks up the headlights into four sections. Engine choices will be a 3.5-liter 302 hp V6 and a 4.6-liter 402 hp biturbo V8. Both hardtop and cabriolet go on sale in the summer of 2013.
