The North American International Auto Show is one of our favorite events of the year. It’s a time when just about every carmaker descends on Detroit, and the moment is a golden one. Picture it with us: gleaming steeds as far as the eye can see, not to mention some pretty attractive and thoroughly knowledgeable spokesmodels.
Whittling down the field to our favorite few is always a tough task, and even more so this year. From SUVs to sports cars, sedans to pickups, the vast majority of the new cars are an improvement on last year’s offerings. It seems the automotive industry is well out of its design doldrums — especially so in the case of American automakers. In fact, nearly half of our choices below come from home turf. What’s more, every car you see listed below — our ten favorites of NAIAS — will see production. That’s a very good thing for everyone.
