To kick off the Gear Patrol Patrolwoman series we thought we’d explain our reasoning behind the women we choose to highlight. Just like the site, we try and separate the wheat from the chafe and focus only on those you might just not know of right off the bat. We’re not saying it will always be that way, but it’s always fun to read about someone you don’t already know everything about.

• Elsa isn’t the typical blonde bombshell. The former journalism major is fluent in Spanish, French, English, and Rumanian. Suddenly, she sounds 10 fold sexier and this being the launch of Gear Patrol, we thought if fitting.
