Hugo Boss Einstein SuitForget the articles and photos in magazines demanding that you own a multi-thousand dollar suit. That’s crap.

The average working man’s salary doesn’t afford them the luxury of maintaining a multi-tens of thousands of dollars sartorial lifestyle. That said, there’s nothing saying it’s not possible to own a suit that fits your budget and makes you look like you walked off the third page of GQ magazine. Just make sure you budget a little cash into having it tailored because without a tailor you’ll just end up looking like that Lexington Avenue poseur.

Our recommendation: Leave the stripes to your shirts and let your first suit rock our in it’s single color understated glory. Oh, and make sure you let a little cuff show.
