TY KUOne of sake’s great benefits are the apparent inability to leave you with a hangover. That’s a plus if there ever was one. Not so much with other liqueurs. TY KU takes that blend by making the actual liqueur with sake which successfully blends a high alcohol content with healthy benefits such as Asian pears, pomegranates, herbs, ginseng, and damania.

For more information on TY KU, take a look at their site.

What this means to you: Taste, no hangover, slight aphrodisiac, and one helluva cool bottle. We dig it.

Cost: $35 @ Crush Wine & Spirits

Drink Recommendation: “Katana”

  • 1 TY KU
  • 1.5 oz Light Rum
  • 1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • 4 Sprigs of Mint
  • 3 wedges of Grapefruit less than an inch thick
  • 0.5 oz Rock Candy syrup
  • 1 oz Club Soda

Mix carefully, pour over sizeable rocks, serve in highball glass. Enjoy. Repeat.
