Bora Bora must be Tahitian for ‘paradise’ because that’s about the only thing we can surmise from the locale. It’s lush rainforests, crystal blue lagoons may make it one of the few places you may not mind living out the rest of your life.

The iconic lagoon perched bungalows have glass-bottomed floors giving you a perfect view of the marine life and if you’d rather be earth-bound, each beach-bungalow includes it’s own private beach complete with hammocks. Sip on your beverage of choice and call it a day, one that honestly never started.

For the more adventurous, the resort offers outrigger canoeing, jet skiing, sailing, and feeding Blacktip Reef and Lemon sharks in addition to scuba diving.

What this means to you: Every place has it’s plusses. Few places are nothing but plusses.

Cost: Starting at $275 per night @ Starwood Hotels
