callaway_800R.jpgCallaway has teamed up with optics technology expert Nikon to bring you the LR800. It’s a quick and accurate distance finder that works up to 800 yards. A golf hole distance we certainly do not wish upon anyone.

It has the unique feature of ‘First Target Technology’ which “displays the range to the nearest target among multiple results obtained with a single measurement. This is particularly useful when measuring the distance to a pin on a green with woods in the background.”

Other features: waterproof, lcd with backlighting, capable of successively providing distance for up to 20 seconds, includes case.

What this means to you: Accurate distances are crucial in golf. Give yourself an optical edge.

Cost: $430 @ Callaway
