burberry.london.overcoat.jpgBurberry’s signature pattern may what you think of when you hear Burberry but that doesn’t mean it’s the only thing they have for you to rock this winter.

The Burberry London Overcoat is one this particular writer goes to every time the weather calls for it. Throwing it with a crisp white shirt or even a darker hue, this jacket has just the right amount of military detailing to make you look formal and a just a little rugged.

Some of the detailing:

  • Spread collar; epaulets
  • Button front (see below); tie waist
  • Yoked button-flap on right chest
  • Front button-flap pockets
  • Long sleeves with belted cuffs

What this means to you: It’s all about the essentials. A versatile coat may cost you plenty but it will serve you more than you’ll ever realize. A classic like the Burberry London Overcoat can instantly replace your entire outerwear wardrobe.

Cost: $650 @ Neiman Marcus
