This tent looks light and airy doesn’t it? Well, that’s exactly what it is but 10x times more functional than the Coleman sitting in your garage. Unfortunately it’s not exactly intended for your afternoon jaunt up the mountains.

This 60″ X 80″ tent from Colorado Altitude Training is designed to simulate environments of high altitude for training and sleeping. Using the air generator system it lowers the oxygen percentage in your breathing air to improve speed and strenght. It can be set up on the floor, or alternatively right on top of a Queen bed. CAT’s acclaimed highest air exchange rate in the industry will be sure to provide with you with proper air levels giving you never-before achieved gains from altitude workouts.

Specifications:

  • Fits up to a Queen-sized mattress
  • Sets up quickly on a bed, or on the floor
  • Two versions: Up to 9,000′, or up to 12,000′ (plus altitude of location)
  • Higher-altitude conversions available for mountaineering
  • No maintenance costs
  • “High-Flow”, quiet-delivery altitude air unit
  • 25′ long air-delivery hose
  • CAT Exercise-mask compatible
  • Includes oxygen monitor and CAT’s altitude conversion software
  • 3-year warranty

What this means to you: If you’re rugged enough to be needing a tent like this then we’d kindly ask permission for you to be on our list of people we’d like to have on our team.

Cost: $1125 @ Competitive Cyclist
