The Titleist Pro V1 is the Bentley of golf balls. It’s hidden-seam design allows to to have the most dimple coverage (392 of them) among 3-piece balls giving it superior aerodynamics. This combined with it’s new staggered parting line give the ball an average of 3 to 4 yards more distance.

Golf Digest’s recently released Hot List gives this ball their coveted gold rating.

For those of you without Tiger Woods ball bending trajectories take a look at the Bridgestone e6+. It’s a far more palpable solution at $25 per dozen and also a gold rated winner.

What this means to you: There’s a reason why this ball is the most played on the Tour. Now, about that $3.75 per ball price tag…

Cost: $45 per dozen @ Golfsmith
