Have contacted the helpline several times and it seems like to seals that are the problem, they keep sending me more and more complicated instructions! It's a nice idea but a tremendous amount of effort and 9 time out of 10 it doesn't work anyway, my advice is stick to cans or go to the pub! For the money you pay it should be a great buy but at the moment i think it rubbish as any one else had this problem ?????? The mk2 has been around in excess of 6 months from what we can gather. Never hurts to have another way to dispense beer although ours doesn't have a noisy pump - certainly not as loud as Vespa. More like the sound of a Honda Civic starting up as heard from the interior. Either way, it's beer. And who can complain about good cold lager? This one has definitely been around for a little while. Mine is almost a year old. Love it, but as I've written on other blogs, it is as loud as a damn Vespa! Every 20 minutes the pump kicks in to keep the pressure up and the cooling fan is on all the time. The fan sounds like 5 desktop computers going full out 24hrs a day. After a year I would hope they would have fixed those problems, but I doubt it. I wouldn't even think about it if you have a small apartment. It'll keep the dead awake. Killer for a party though!
