Apple-iMac-3GHz.jpgApple’s much applauded aluminum and glass all-in-one computer has been revised with faster processors, more powerful video cards, larger cache and a quicker front-side bus. (1066MHz from 800MHz if any of you care to know).

In base form the 24 inch iMac comes equipped with a 3.06GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 2GB memory, 500GB hard drive, 8x double-layer SuperDrive, 512MB NVIDIA GeForce 800GS video card, and 6MB L2 cache.

No changes have been made to the design but based on the current looks we appreciate Apple’s choice not to. Base iMac’s start at $1199. Available today.

Interesting fact: Mac sales are growing roughtly three and a half times faster than PC sales.

Cost: $2,199 @ Apple
