About: Writing an introduction for one’s self isn’t really an easy task. You try to think about things to say, but everything sounds cocky and conceited. Then I start to think… this is Gear Patrol after all, so how would I review myself?
Well, it’s safe to say I’m a big enthusiast of all things “gear” related. You can expect no shortage of posts covering a large range. It’s safe to say I lean on the sarcastic side and sometimes my humor might be out there, but that’s just what I do. (Ed: sarcastic writers at GP? surely you jest…) Whether it’s playing video games, paintball, working on cars, I like to immerse myself in all types of things. I consider myself a jack of all trade, a master of some and adventurous enough to try most things once.
Career wise I’m a Systems Administrator and served in the Air Force for 8 years - having spent time in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and South Korea.
I am originally from the Republic of Panama where I was born and raised, but spent some time residing in the states as my father was in the military and on the go. I currently live in Fort Walton Beach, which is a laid back spot with white sandy beaches and emerald green water. Don’t be jealous.
What does this mean to you: Plenty of rhetoric describing your soon to be favorite gear. Grab a brew, because I’m sure I’ll be having one, and let the reviews roll…

If you haven’t been living in a cave then you know that Grand Theft Auto IV is the fourth installment of Rockstar Games popular series. GTA IV has you playing the role of Niko Bellic, an immigrant straight off the boat from Eastern Europe. Niko is convinced by his cousin to cross the pond and join him in his cushy mansion and life of luxury. Of course that wouldn’t be any fun… you as Niko soon find out that achieve the true ‘American Dream’, you have to hustle to make that paper.
GTA IV brings you to Liberty City, a land of opportunity if you’re willing to crack some heads. Rockstar has gone all out with new revamped graphics and supurb attention to detail. Liberty City now consists of four new boroughs, plus an extra area outside of Liberty City. You’ll have the opportunity to climb around and an array of vehicles at your disposal. (More after the jump)
Cost: $60 @ Amazon XBox or PS3
New to this series will be the introduction of an online multiplayer mode. Not much has been disclosed about the details, since only a few select people have actually been able to play the game. Word on the streets is, that if you and a couple of cohorts are riding in the same vehicle you’ll be able to change the radio station independently of everyone in the car, so music selection will not be left to those pulling shotgun duty.
What this means to you: You can finally get rid of your older systems when you feel like getting ‘Wayne Brady’ on some ho’s. Blowing things up and reaping havoc will be brought to a new level when you’re rolling with your online cronies.
