I have the rewardzone and have had it since it first came out. It has been extremely beneficial to me in conjunction with the Best Buy card (90-days same as cash up to 18months same as cash) and the Rewardzone Mastercard. The Rewardzone Mastercard is just like any other credit card and any amounts charged on there adds to the rewardzone benefits and programs. With the rewardzone mastercard, the purchases do not have to be specifically at Best Buy stores/merchandise. Therefore your $2500 can add up extremely quickly for the benefit. Every 250 points you earn (min $1/point) will provide you with a $5 certificate to use at Best Buy stores or Bestbuy.com. I hardly spend anything at Best Buy itself but with the rewards with the rewardzone mastercard it makes it all worth it for me.

Oh and you don't have to be a silver member to earn rewards, you just earn faster and get more benefits (2% instead of 1% but every 1 point is worth $1 in purchases (before tax). Which to me is a lot better than spending 25,000 in airline points (aobut $25,000) for an airline ticket that costs maybe $500.
