“Americans have unrealistic expectations of how long sex should last,” says Eric Corty, Ph.D. (amen), who helped conduct a survey of members of the Society for Sex Therapy and Research published in The Journal of Sexual Medicine. “From the perspective of sex therapists, three minutes in the vagina before ejaculation is fine.”
