About: I joined the gang at Gear Patrol because I believe that as men we often settle for less than the very best lifestyle we can attain. It’s been ingrained into our psyches to forgo certain products, services or lifestyles because they don’t fall within some antiquated male paradigm. Bunk.
It’s time as men to stand up and redefine what’s rightfully ours. Much of what I have learned to this end has come through advice from guys who had the experiences and knowledge I was seeking. My only regret was not learning it sooner. Now I feel it’s my obligation to pass along what I know. I’m not saying I have all the answers but I’m happy to share what I’ve learned so far.
On a more personal level, I live an active lifestyle and focus on my health and wellness as a means to sustain the frenetic pace. I also suffer from a case of golf-itis and spend a lot of my free time perusing that passion… ok, obsession. I aim to incorporate relevant fitness and golf content into Gear Patrol’s expanding coverage of all things male. Like the rest of the crew I can’t stand over-hyped, under-performing products. None of that crap will be perpetuated here.See Authors Posts (93) on Wed, Oct 1, 2008 | Email To A Friend

Dare I Say… Trifecta
Less is more. Time is money. Use This.
That’s it… you’ve just read my review of L’Oreals new all-in-one men’s shower wash.
Seriously though, I’m generally against all-in-one products. It’s unrealistic to mix products with different functions together and expect them to compete against specialized competition. So imagine my surprise when I stepped out of the shower having only lathered-up (TMI) in one product.
I found my hair and skin fresh and clean without being dried out (typical of all-in-one products), not to mention Vive Pro smells great, but won’t overpower your cologne of choice. And since you can hit up all your body parts at once, you’re out of the shower in no time. Gotta love efficiency. It’s perfect for travel and the gym where less is most definitely more.
We’re men… we don’t care about nonsense like soft skin, but after a few days with Vive Pro, I’m reassessing that position. Maybe it’s time you did too.
Cost: $5 @ Local Drugstore, Drugstore.com, Amazon
As a professional gentlemen who appreciates the finer things, I prefer my shower products to be designed for the one thing they’re used for. I like to wash my body with body wash and wash my hair with seperate shampoo and conditioner, both designed for my type of hair. I do this all for the same reason I don’t shave with just soapy water: I’m a male in the 21st century and I DO care about this “nonsense.”
Time management is important, and maybe for the gym this product would be great, but if you don’t have enough time to shower properly before going to the office in the morning, you need a raise.
I have used most of the vive pro for men line and have enjoyed it. Same goes for this as well. I bring this with me when I go camping or on large church trips where you can’t pack alot. This allows me to not have to bring bar soap and shampoo, which makes for a lot less to keep up with.
Great product, wish it was more widely available.
Marketing gimmick! Do you wana save time in the morning by mixing your coffe, eggs, toast, butter and jam in a blender and drinking it, then buy this 3-1 Shampoo.
