		<description>I second this post, considering that I have this very thermostat installed in my home.  Having an additional programmable device fulfills my gadgetophile needs, and the increased accuracy of the digital unit can certainly improve your home's energy efficiency.  I say out with the mercury, in with backlighting.</description>
