About: I joined the gang at Gear Patrol because I believe that as men we often settle for less than the very best lifestyle we can attain. It’s been ingrained into our psyches to forgo certain products, services or lifestyles because they don’t fall within some antiquated male paradigm. Bunk.
It’s time as men to stand up and redefine what’s rightfully ours. Much of what I have learned to this end has come through advice from guys who had the experiences and knowledge I was seeking. My only regret was not learning it sooner. Now I feel it’s my obligation to pass along what I know. I’m not saying I have all the answers but I’m happy to share what I’ve learned so far.
On a more personal level, I live an active lifestyle and focus on my health and wellness as a means to sustain the frenetic pace. I also suffer from a case of golf-itis and spend a lot of my free time perusing that passion… ok, obsession. I aim to incorporate relevant fitness and golf content into Gear Patrol’s expanding coverage of all things male. Like the rest of the crew I can’t stand over-hyped, under-performing products. None of that crap will be perpetuated here.See Authors Posts (92) on Mon, Dec 22, 2008 | Email To A Friend

Forget Your Game Face, Get Your Game Hair On

It was just a matter of time. Axe, already a leader in the body fragrance and wash categories, has made their way up to the head. Starting in December, Axe Hair offers a full line of shampoos, conditioners, and styling products. Take note; you won’t find any gel here. According to Axe, 90% of girls agree that hard, crusty, over-gelled hair turns them off. We have to agree. Hair is one of the first things women evaluate when they first notice you.
Whether you like a clean polished look or the “just rolled out of bed” messy hair, Axe has a styling solution for you. When you are ready for a reset, wash it away with one of Axe’s shampoos, each specifically designed to tackle a specific hair type. Axe Hair fixes the hair errors hurting guys’ game and offers a new generation of styling products to give guys distinct, girl-approved looks.
Axe styling products include: Messy Look Paste, Spiked Look Putty, Clean-Cut Look Pomade, and Shaggy Look Cream.
Axe shampoos & conditions include: Just Clean Shampoo, De-Glue Shampoo + Scrub, De-Poof Shampoo, Anti-Dandruff Shampoo + Conditioner, 2 in 1 Shampoo + Conditioner, and Just Soft Conditioner.
Cost: $5 Shampoos & Conditioners | $6 Styling Aids @ Local Retailer or Amazon
