Oh, I love a great deal. So much so that I see a buffet, not as a meal, rather, as a challenge to see if I can eat more than the cost of admission (sadly, I usually win). When I stumbled upon the AMC Best Picture Showcase, I knew I couldn’t let this opportunity pass.

The Best Picture Showcase is an all day event featuring five Oscar nominated films (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Frost/Nixon, Milk, The Reader, and Slumdog Millionaire) along with unlimited popcorn and a collectors pass. Sitting through five movies back-to-back might be a little hardcore, but it’s surely worth it as you’ll be surrounded by other movie buffs (guaranteed to leave the crying infant at home).

Tickets go on sale Friday, January 30th.
