There's a lot of other men out there who've shared similar sentiments directly with the writers. It definitely helps provide justification to what we're doing, even if it is a work in progress. The challenge is "real world" is incredibly subjective to guys. We'll continue to try and bring into the fold a variety of perspectives - some will be deplored, some will be corroborate, hopefully all will be respected. Oh, and we'll have some fun with it too. I am in one of the most expensive colleges in the country and am constantly looking for a bargain. You guys are very good at being well rounded and providing both the style but also the bargain. Those don't always go hand in hand but you have found the appropriate balance here. Ultimately, I think having more money over the long term to purchase more substantial items is more important then getting the latest gadget or latest style. Gear Patrol seems to understand that not every man if going to go out and purchase a $2000 suit, $500 shoes and a $14000 watch just to put together an outfit. Sure, expensive luxuries are nice, but so are shrewd bargains that look like a million bucks! Please keep your down to earth perspective... the world doesn't need another GQ!
