Penny Loafers are a classic that no man should be without. This versatile shoe goes great with numerous outfits, transitioning seamlessly between the office, the bar, or a weekend getaway. Match them to a suit and you’re ready for the boardroom. Casual Fridays? No problem, just wear them with a pair of khakis. A night out with the guys? These go great with jeans. A warm summer day in the city? Pair them with shorts and no socks for a cool summer look. As you can see, the possibilities are virtually endless here.

With so many different brands and colors, it may be hard to decide on the right pair. One of our favorites here at Gear Patrol is the dark brown tumbled Cole Haan Air Delancey Penny. More on the casual side, this hand-sewn loafer is made from burnished Italian vachetta calfskin and soft tumbled leather, giving it a vintage look and feel. The leather sole and heel simply add to the shoe’s rustic appeal. Of course, you get the comfort of Nike Air technology as well.

Cost: $202 @ Zappos | $218 @ Cole Haan>
