Attus Apparel Polo Shirts
Polos For Guys Looking Past The Croc and Pony

By Gear Patrol Reader Jered Thompson
I consider myself pretty much a t-shirt kind of guy, but last year while shopping at Urban Outfitters, I got turned on to a polo shirt company called Attus Apparel. Unlike most of the typical logos found on most polos (think: crocs and ponies), these shirts have strippers, forties, and other ironic symbols embroidered on the chest. A sense of irony I still enjoy, that is. The shirts run slim, which I like and they have a nice vintage feel to them. A great upgrade for those looking to move up from tees.
Better yet, some of the shirts are only five bucks. A far better deal than the $59 I shell out at Urban Outfitters. Enough said.
Cost: $59 $5+

like the polisher polo!
Jered,
Thanks for the heads up on this. As someone who has always worn the croc or pony, I must admit I've been itching for something new and with prices like $5 it's hard to say no to these.
I've been rocking more and more Mensing Wear/Original Penguin. Classic look, "more" affordable. There's a store in NorthPark Mall in Dallas and they are always having a sale … maybe that's a bad thing, but I digress.
Ugh, if GP aims to have it's readers improve themselves through gear, I'm not sure what putting a stripper pole or a 40 oz. on your chest says about you as a person.
Not that it' need be an alligator or a pony - how about the ulitmate polo from Target that sells for 10 bucks?
Not my steelo…but a great idea nonetheless.
I agree with Troy. While the deals are great, stripper poles and 40oz are better for the late teens, early '20. Unless I've totally missed the demo of this site.
Very Tacky
thanks for the heads up on this, i like things a bit tacky. just ordered the polisher in all three colors as a fathers day gift to myself.
