Very true. There is one thing, however, that I think should also be mentioned, and that is the problem of pleated pants. Never ever buy pleated pants. Ever. No man has ever needed that much fabric to accommodate his hips, so all the excess from the pleats will only result in a very unflattering silhouette. Pleated pants will immediately make you look out of touch and your wardrobe dated, no matter how well you paired your shirt and tie. Flat front, always.
